Competition Conditions (26)

Foursomes Matchplay only

1.   Competitions will be held in accordance with the R&A Rules of Golf and the Whetstone Competition Rules as published.

2.   Handicap Allowance will be in accordance with Appendix  1 (iv) of the WHS  manual.  Ie Team Playing Handicap will be :-

Take the  ROUNDED Course handicap for each player. (Blue Column) If any of the players are using the Red Tees then add one.

This is the TEAM PLAYING HANDICAP.

The difference from the opponents TEAM HANDICAP is calculated and halved.

This is then rounded to give the Stroke received.

  3 In Matchplay Events, strokes given will be the difference of the Team Handicaps as calculated in 2 above. In the event of a match finishing square after then prescribed number of holes, and if a winner is required then play will continue from the first hole onwards until a hole is won.

4    In mixed tee events the competition will use the Yellow or White par and stroke indices.
