Whetstone Golf Club Competitions and Social Committee own the intellectual property of all website content  and you must not redistribute material from this website with the exception of:-

- viewing, downloading and printing pages from the website for your own personal use.

We retain data for the purpose of:- Maintenance and Administration of the Membership and administration of competitions and the Handicap System.

Any other data submitted by you on the club website ( Whetstonegc.co.uk), by submission of score cards, competition entries or by Emails.

Data is also collected about you from your registration to Whetstone Golf Club Limited and also from any responses by you on the club website ( Whetstonegc.co.uk)

Lawful Basis

Minimal data is retained that is necessary for communication to members or visitors in regard to competitions, handicaps, and other membership matters.

Data Security

Data will be used for internal purposes of Whetstone Golf Club and will not be distributed to third parties with the exception of, members Name, Date of Birth, EMail Address, Details of Entry to Competitions  and Gender will be passed to England Golf  and Club Systems Ltd for processing and maintenance of handicaps and affiliations and may also be displayed or published or distributed to other clubs as part of handicap and competition information. All other data will remain confidential to the Club.

Your name can be removed from the membership list at any time by request to the club secretary. However historical data of competition results may be retained but will no longer be released publicly.

We do not use “cookies” on our website (WhetstoneGC.co.uk)

We will not, without your consent provide your personal data to any other third parties for the purpose of marketing except to the extent in the case that we are required to do so by law or to defend our legal rights
