REMARKABLE!

Some people have done it several times. Some have never done it even

after a lifetime of golf, but Whetstone Junior Finley Sammels

managed to "Hole in One" in his very first competition.

Fourteen year old Finley has only held a handicap for 4 days but entered

the Captains' Day competition and holed out on the 14th.

What a fantastic achievement.

Congratulations from the the Members of Whetstone Golf Club.

Not to be outdone, Whetstone Ladies (Tracey Griffiths, Jennie Marris & EIthne Martin)

complete their 72 holeschallenge today ( 18th June)

on behalf of the "Wishes for Kids" charity.

The girls competed their task in under 13 hours.

Well done girls!

raising over £3000 for the charity.

Well done boys!
